This is a page for you all to have a giggle looking at! I travel throughout China and due to VT I take photos of funny things all over the place! I want to share them with you and in return, I would love you to send funny signs to me too and then I will add them to my page..can you do that? We could really get a nice page going here!!!!! |  | Beijing, Ming Tombs. Dec. 2003 Ha ha....whilst walking around The MIng Tombs in BEIJING I saw this fairly comical sign. The Chinese have a thing that NO-ONE can EVER stand on any piece of grass ANYWHERE! So seeing this notice was very amusing! I shall take note when approaching 'luxuriant grassland' next time! |
Beijing, Forbidden City. Dec. 2003 Cruising round The Forbidden City, again in BEIJING, this sign popped up suddenly! ANOTHER one I thought? How can this be....? I guess it's just an all round year sign that they can't be bothered to take down during the non-flowering season! This is hilarious! CONFUCIUS says "This is from a fancy restaurant in the Fengtai district south of Beijing.They somehow used the vulgar interpretation of "gan" to translate menu items. Needless to say not many foreigners dine in Fengtai district, so it wasn't caught for a while." | | | What on earth were they thinking?!!! |
