Vegas | Bellagio and Ceasars palace |
Vegas is of course unbelievably beautiful to see and to endure. Because of the temperature most people stayed in the shadow and walked just from casino to casino untill nightfall. The city really comes alive after the sun goes down. All the lights are on, there are people everywhere, gambling, drinking, smoking (which is odd for a country that wants to ban smoking completely!!) and having fun in general. |
| Fremont Street light show |
|  | Fremont street One thing you must see is the Fremont Street Experience. This street has a roof built over the street that has a phenomanol lightshow every hour. This weekend was the Centennial weekend, so the 100th birthday of Las Vegas, so there were shows everywhere, especially at Fremont Street. The atmosphere is much more relaxed than the Strip, the people are more friendly and modest and the lightshow is unbelievable. |
Free shows If you ever go to Vegas, besides seeing the Fremont Street Experience, also pass all the casino's on the outside. There is so much to see, everyone of them has a free show of some kind. The Bellagio has a Fountain show, Treasure Island has a Volcano, The Mirage houses Tigers, and so on, and so on.......
They are free, just walk past them and have a look. One tip for the Bellagio Fountains, go up on the Eiffel tower across the street and get an amazing view of the show. | | |
