Michael, one of the most prominent VT-ers, now on rank 1, always more than 400 places ahead of me, was already very long a VT friend of mine. I always admired his huge numbers of great pictures and the often nice texts. We had a lot of correspondence over the years but it needed the Verona meeting to meet personally. |
| | Pakistaniguy Umer was one of the quite numerous VT friends who added me to their VT-friends lists because of the conflicts around my most famous page (I guess you all know which one ;-)) and we met for the first time in Verona. |
croisbeauty Where else than in Verona should I meet Boris, the author of the best Verona page? This city is of course also among my favourites in Italy. | | |
| | KristaB My first contact with Kristina I had when she wrote a supporting comment after my most famous VT-page was censored. And we met personally at the great "First Official European VT meeting" in Valeggio sul Mincio/Verona. And now I even know the meaning of the B in her VT name. The first who found it out was drfiras - it means BELLYDANCER |
Daja123 It seems that I enjoy the highest concentration of my VT friends in Slovenia, all are very charming ladies. It is nice that they all are living relatively close to my home (but Tirol is not so close that I could see the Triglav from here (I think that all my Slovenian VT friends can see the Triglav from their homes or at least from a place in a walking distance from it). I met Darja for the first time at the famous Valeggio sul Mincio/Verona meeting which was crowded by charming Slovenian ladies, two of them fabulous Dancing Queens. | | | With Darja in Valeggio sul Mincio |

| | PeteNL Wietse and his wife Baiba launched the nice idea of a VT meeting in Fendels, a small village off the beaten track high above the Inn valley soon after the Inn left the Swiss Engadin and entered Tirol. It became during the years PeteNL's favourite place to relax both under winter and summer holidays. It offers indeed nice skiing in Winter and great mountain hikes in Summer. It is really a pity that no other VTers found the way to this fine place. We had planned originally a meeting with skiing or tobogganing but since I could only come in the evening (they offer even great night skiing on fantastically illuminated tracks and have an illuminated Rodel track too but it was extremely cold and a wind enhanced the frosty feeling) we just went for Glühwein (hot spiced wine) and a nice dinner to a cosy little Gasthaus somewhere close to a skiing track above the village. We found the idea of a VT meeting in Fendels really great and maybe there will be more VTers to join us at the next VT meeting here. |
A prominent visitor in my home Michael (Globetrott) passed Telfs on his way back home from Switzerland and called me so I invited him to visit me. Unfortunately the weather was like it was so often in Summer 2005 in the Alps. But it was nice to meet again after the famous Valeggio sul Mincio meeting. Because Anjutka was also here it could be called a real VT-meeting with more than 2 VT-ers at the place. | | | Globetrott and Anjutka in my home |

| | KachinaV We are friends in real life since I met Katja for the first time in summer 2002 in Riga, we kept always contact and met again in 2004 in Austria. |
