Arrival at Barcelona Airport The group arrived on schedule and this is taken at about 10:00 on the Saturday morning. The group was made up of Kishan, Maldar, Maryann and Lindsay and of course me the photographer.
Taxi's had arrived for the team at 04:15 and 04:45. Some of the group had in fact been out the night before and had over indulged so were very under the weather both at Heathrow and then Barcelona. We were also one passenger light, who blamed the taxi driver for not turning up - so he ended up not being with us at all. |
|  | After breakfast As soon as we arrived in the city centre, we went for breakfast. I had a very enjoyable omelette and some had a fried breakfast. I understand that the fried breakfast was not as good as had been envisaged by the two in need of a filling meal. I suspect that if you have a desire for an "english" fry up what you receive in Catalonia may not be exactly what you may be in need of to fill and sobre you up! |
Almost at Parc Guell We had an enjoyable walk through the city and finally arrived in sight of Parc Guell. However, it appeared that we all ran out of energy.....so there was need for a beer stop.
It was only a short trip and wlak to the top of the hill and the Parc Guell itself. | | |

Yes, I definitely enjoyed my day in Torshavn. I have more tips to add. I was on a cruise that was supposed to also go to Greenland and Iceland. Much to my disappointment, Greenland was too icy for the ship to get there safely. Iceland was great tho. |
