Archeologists have searched for more than a century in the
Rhodopa mountains the remains of the famous Thracian temple ,where Dionysus had its Oracle.More and more facts lead to beleive that this is the temple complex of Perperikon - the biggest megalith in Europe,discovered just some years ago in the Rhodopa mountains .The earliest finds at Perperikon hill are dated from the late Neolithic period - 6th-5th millenium BC - some 8000 years ago ( !!! )
