What Calgarians do for fun Calgarians love outdoor sports, however because of the weather we don't have many months to partake in the warm weather ones. This is the outcome - move the outdoor sports indoors. Rock climbing is a popular activity and many centres have opened up around the city. |
|  | Boarding The kids (and adults) love snowboarding. Right in the city limits is COP, for a light fun day on the sloops. For something a little more like the *real* thing head to Sunshine, Lake Louise. |
Mountains and Beers Calgarians spend much time in the mountains as they're only a jump away - not only do we do mountainy/outdoorsy things in the mountains but we love our pubs. Lounging in a pub or lingering over a good dinner in the mountains are a great way to end the day. | | |
