From around the age of 6, my son Eric was fascinated with magic tricks. Harry Houdini, having been born in Howell, Michigan, gave rise to many fine magic shops in our home town. Maybe this is what caught my son's fancy? Whatever it was, even after finishing a degree at Michigan State University in Political Science and International Relations, Eric followed his childhood dream and became a professional magician. That's me on the far left next to my mother Martha, my cousin Nicky and my father Nick. Oh, yes, and that's Max the famous Schnauzer and infamous guard dog! His bite is just a big as his bark!

My son Eric with his lovely Liane! They have been together now for almost 10 years? Last year they bought a beautiful house in the Mission Districe of San Francisco, where Eric does all the cooking and Liane keeps him in line? While Eric is writing plays and mastering new tricks, Liane is the Master of a web-site for a major publishing company. I wish them all the happiness and good fortune and may the 'magic' last forever in their relationship. I love you both so much:):)

Greece is not a country that is always kind to its animals. Sadly, this little kitten had been beaten, abused and thrown into the bushes to die by some very bad little boys. Feeling pity, I picked the poor thing up and brought it home. My son, who was visiting at the time, did the bravest things of all. He fed 'Minnie,' and nursed her back to health. Even through the night, he got up every two hours to give her milk. Was it Magic? There was no magic about my son's sensitivity and caring! That is just plain LOVE!
