A farm mid way between Calgary and the mountains

A breath of Spring
Priddis is a small village west of Calgary, this farm is south of Priddis on Highway 22 south to Turner Valley.
View west of Turner Valley

The mountain barrier to the west

All the roads heading west in this area, dead end at the Mountains.
Rocky Mountains.

Trees manage to grow in places.

Another view of the mountain range west of Turner valley.
Foothills and Mountains

The transition from rolling hils to steep mountain

The snow has melted or blown off the fields, the mountains still have snow above the 2000 m level.

In fact where there are ski slopes it is possible to ski into April in the area around Banff and Lake Louise.

Hello, dear David. Been awhile since we've online at the same time. Hope the weather has been good for you. It has its ups and downs here, but the sun is bright right now. Stay golden!
