|  | Ms. Smiley Nadja - one of my favourite persons. She is just as she looks - sunny, radiant, joyful and kinda sparkly. She shows me and then reminds me of all the beauty in our world. She worships colour, texture and scent. She always arrives with a bushel of flowers, a book from the flea market and a bottle of wine.

Bubbles the Llama This is one of my favourite animals - Bubbles is her name and spitting is her game. She always looks like she's saying "what the hell?" - but I like her anyway. She lives with friends of mine on a farm overlooking the rocky mountains, she earns her keep by eating, allowing her owners less time on the mower (what a great life!!). She spits when she's mad and admits she doesn't know when she's confused, that's just honest. The world can always use more honesty. | | |
| | The Sea One day I will live by the sea. On nights when I struggle to fall asleep I imagine a tiny house by the ocean, the windows are thrown open and a breeze carrying the ocean's soothing whispers lull me to sleep. Being a Prairie girl it seems exotic and wild. |
The Yellow Ladies I LOVE black-eyed susans. They seem wild and free to me. I've never had them in my garden, I'd rather visit them - keeping it a special occasion. | | |

Snappin pics Taking pictures and traveling seem to go hand in hand. My style is I try to make sure the picture is supporting the experience rather than vice versa - sometimes I fail. At times I feel myself so drawn to keeping record the photo becomes the quest and the experience fades into the background, in all honesty it's these photos I find myself disappointed with and both the experience and the photo seem diluted. The photos I like best are the ones I just seemed to snap - the outcome seems less perfect but more real to the moment it was meant to represent. | | |
