This travelogue and the linked one is supposed to show you one of the places with the most impressive scenery I have been to in the time since I started to hike here in the Allgäu. Actually I have been there twice already and it will definitely not be the last time. The tour starts at the skijump arena. Behind the jumpingtower the way first leads south and then turnes slightly to the left direction. From here on it follows the Oytal (Oy-valley) up to the end at the Käseralpe, a hut where you can get some drink and bread. All around the Käseralpe are mountains, only to one side the valley opens, which is the access for us to that place.

One thing, which is also posted as a warning and danger: If you go hiking in the Alps, even here where the mountains are not that high compared to e.g. Switzerland, check the weather forcast!!! In summer we have thunder and lightning here. This is not something great to go through in the mountains. On the trip I took these pics they said it could get lightning, but everything look pretty good. But I had a strange feeling, which became reality. A friend of mine who was with me and me we had to run to get to a hut on the way back and actually I was really afraid. So DO NOT DO THIS LIKE ME!!!

The pic was taken a few meters behind the skijumptower towards the southwest. In the background you see the typical 'skyline' of the mount Ifen. It is still good weather and no clouds.... :)))

About six to eight kilometers the way goes along the valley with the mountains on both side. As very often in the Allgäu you also find cows in this place...

Now for getting to the hut there is some steep passage to manage...
