"VTers I have met" by cnango

My first VT meet was at the Historical San Antonio Winery in Los Angeles . After a tour by an owner and some wine tasting we had a nice dinner. We all had a great time and I am so glad Yubert invited me,Cheers Yubert ! The tour was fantastic , the food and drink good but most of all it was nice meeting some local Vters :) My friendship list has some new entries and I am looking forward to another VT meet soon!

I met Kats train at the San Juan Capistrano station. It was the beginning of a wonderful adventure in South Orange Co. I showed her around Laguna Beach, Balboa Island, Dana Point and my home town of San Clemente. Then she spent the night at my house and in the morning we were off to San Juan Capstrano.

I work at the Mission San Juan Capistrano as a Docent (volunteer-teacher-tour guide) so I gave her a personal tour of the Mission and the historical Los Rios District. After lunch at Sarduccis at the depot , I waved goodbye to a new friend !

It was so nice finally meeting Keida84(Kat) in person ! She is very smart and Kind and we had a great time together. She also taught me some new features in virtualtourist.com and has introduced me to some of her VT friends. Thanks Kat !

I met VTer danielinnz at Auckland Airport (AKL) where I had a 2 hr. stopover. I was traveling with my husband Jeff & youngest son, Mike. We were on our way to Queenstown, New Zealand. It was awesome of Daniel to come and meet us so early in the morning. We ordered coffee,sat in the lounge and had a short but nice visit. Daniel is a nice man and was very helpful, giving us some great tips about Queenstown, and the Milford Sound ! Cheers Daniel

I have had the pleasure of staying in the New Plymouth farm house of VTer frithes_nz on a couple of visits. Dianne,her husband Peter and their children Derick, Ruth and Emily are a lovely Kiwi family. They have shown me wonderful hospitality and we truly love spending time together .We have done everything from chores, to exploring New Plymouth, to just hanging out together and learning more about each others cultures.

I look forward to the day they can come to California so I can spoil them the way they have spoiled me in NZ.

I have known new VTer kiwi_dan1979 for years. In fact I consider him to be my Kiwi son. He has stayed with me and my family in California on several visits. We have been to Vegas together twice and my family and I have also had Daniel show us around Wellington,NZ . I have also gone to NZ alone and stayed with Daniel's family in their Palmerston North home on a few occassions. On this visit Daniel spent the weekend with the Frithes and me in the Taranaki region.

hailsbails is also from the Taranaki region so she joined me, Daniel and the Frithe family in New Plymouth. It was Daniels birthday so Hayley recommended Marbles as a fun place to celebrate. We all hit it off right away and had a great time together.Hayley is awesome, I am so glad I finally had a chance to meet her in person.My mates all really liked her too. I can't wait until the next time I get back to "Naki" and all my wonderful Kiwi friends there.CHEERS MATES !

I finally had an opportunity to meet kiwi in person. We had chatted online and on the phone when I was in Queenstown,New Zealand a few months earlier.It was so nice to be shown around Auckland by a native and someone who I consider to be an expert on NZ. I learned so much and she showed me things that I had completely missed in several previous trips. It was also great to meet her Mum, another VTer, Morepork. It was awesome to see and hear about places in NZ from Pams childhood. CHEERS kiwi, I had an great time in Auckland !

Before the San Juan Capistrano Meet several Vters I met at the LA Meet reunited. I also had the pleasure of meeting Supune and Vladimir (Zarathustra) for the first time. We met at the Fisherman Restaurant on the San Clemente Pier.Under bright blue umbrellas on a sunny afternoon we watched the waves, visited and had a delicious seafood lunch together.
