The Sanctuary...The Gathering Place

Serenity in the Sanctuary
This is a lovely fountain in the "sanctuary" which is a common area of the former church/wedding chapel turned B & B. Richard and Nona have scrap books of the inn in its prior day.

In the dining area is the buffet which has a refrigerator stocked with water, teas, coffee, wine and Nona's goodies like White Chocolate cake, Cocolate chip coconut cookies, carrot cake.
Grape Lamp in the Fleur de Lis

Filled with unusual antiques

The Victorian Rose is crammed full of eclectic and ecclesiastic antiques. This inn was a former church so it is fitting that the decor suits it so well.

The Victorian Rose

The bathrooms are all done in antiques as well.

The Victorian Rose bathroom has some beautiful stained glass windows and the relief work inside the bathtub shows the TLC that Richard and Nona put into the inn.

Is This Your Uncle Albert?

Meet "Uncle Albert"...........

I don't know the name of this gentleman, but he has the most compelling eyes. They follow you as you walk past. I have named him "Uncle Albert".

Hi Kat, How's my neighbor to the west doing? I was up looking around at the homes near the beach in your neck of the woods. Ate at Brophy Bros. above the Carousel. Larry

Hi Kat! I'm originally from Oxnard/Ventura, so your page brought back many memories for me. Thanks so much!

Not only has Frankys Place kept their old vegetarian and vegan items. They've won the "Best Vegetarian Items" in the Star Reader's Poll for the past 2 yrs. And they now have live music & dancing on weekends and a full bar with 2 Prime Rib dinners for $35.
