it's the first time in years i decided to go work on my bday. two reasons: im living in the middle of nowhere; and my friends arefamily are all back home.
it was a good bday though. my work mates gave me a lovely bouquet of flowers which i offered in turn to Krishna. they are now sitting beautifully on my mandir.

all i can do to treat my friends was to order two plates of mixed fruits.
if only a vegetarian resto is nearby....sigh

u cant have your cake and eat it too!

the next day, my boss sue gave me a birthday cake. of course as any normal cake, it contained eggs....that is why above quote is so right for this occasion.

so before i blew the candles, was asked to make a wish...
and i said, i wish everyone would become a vegetarian..then blew all the candles out as everyone said "noooooooooo!"

the only things i could eat were the fruits on top, and i made sure i scraped off the icing..

ive heard of the saying, dont bite off more than u can chew...but hey, it's my bday...

gosh i shouldnt even be touching this cake and im feeding ruth with it. karma karma karma chameleon.....
