Travel Tips

I live in a modest 3 bed semi detatched house in Leigh-on-Sea. It is down a quiet residential road where people clean their cars and tend to their gardens over the weekend. It is close to all local amenities and 10 mins from the seafront.

This is my garden. I decided to make it a large patio as I am away so often the garden became overgrown and unmanageable. I have flower points with hardy winter pansies so I have a little colour all year around.

My daughter Sabrina has lived here since she was 4 and is now 19. This picture was taken Christmas 2003. She has never grown out of being excited about her presents but then, neither have I. She has made every Christmas special since the day she was born.

It is great being 40 and having a grown up daughter. One of my best friends, Emma is 10 years younger than me, and my daughter Sabrina is 10 years younger than her. I beleive having children keeps you young.

I love Sabinas friends. She is very popular and when they are all back from universities across the country they come to my house to get ready for a night on the town. I sometimes go with them as I still like clubbing and I make sure they all get home safely.

This is a picture of Emma on a recent night out with not one but two ex boyfriends. Because Southend has such a close knit community is pays to remain on good terms with people. There is no point holding grudges - just move on and keep smiling.

My boyfriend Ian and I share a passion for life and although we are very different people we both share a passion for life and know how to have a good time whether we are together or apart.

I took this picture outside my house Fabruary 2005. It is a double rainbow, which is pretty rare. I feel like I have my pot of gold as I am so lucky to have a warm and safe home and good freinds and family around me.
