OK, so suppose someone told me I had to move to Germany tomorrow- If I did, I'd live in Lindau. What a beautiful little waterfront town. You see I need to live near a large body of water, I just do. And one overlooking the Alps isn't too shabby. When in Germany, specifically Bavaria, visit Lindau. Stroll the streets, stop for a nice lunch at one of the outdoor cafes and most importantly gaze out over the lake of Constance. It's gorgeous. |

|  | Charming streets with great little shops abound. Did I mention the flowers blossoming EVERYwhere? Gosh, Germans in Lindau have major green thumbs. ;-) |

I agree. German cooking is quite good, and there is a lot of variety. But, I DO love a good brat, too. I still remember a hot brat and some white gluhwein in a city market in Bitberg 11 years ago. |
