The first VTer I actuall got on a plane to meet was Ms Jojocan, and after years of my wonderful influence, she entered the realm of body art ... tee-hee.

Jojo was given a stuffed monkey by her grandmother when she was a wee little one. Her manner of preserving this little critter, and the memories of her grandmother's love was to have it inked on her calf! Her grandmother thought she was crazy to get a tattoo, until she learned what Jojo had inked on her person ... then grandma cried. Isn't that sweet???

Though, since his name is Monkey-Poo .... Jojo can now say she has monkey poo on her leg! Muahahahahaha!

Jojo was so unimpressed with the pain of getting a tat, she wandered to another part of the shop and got her nose pierced afterwards! I'm still laughing at her .... what body part will she decorate next? Inquiring minds want to know!

Jerry / Firefighter 1 saw my body art album, and wanted to share his .... this particular piece is quite personal in symbolism, and beautiful in composition. His brother is a Tattoo artist who brought his vision to life .... it symbolizes the victory of good/strength over the rat like evil we sometimes have in our lives ......

I love the irony of a fish loving bird being expected to follow these silly human rules :) I also love pelicans ...... Hollywood Florida and Miami Florida filled me w/ pelicans galore!

Okay, so, like, we were forced to stay another night in Amsterdam as out connecting flight from Ireland was late - aww shucks :)
Anywho - when we got to our hotel, I looked out the window and saw this swan swimmng w/ ducks - I thought it was strange ... a friend saw the pic when I got home and informed me that this was a momma swan and her babies - who hadn't molted into their white feathers yet ..... still a cute picture (and also a reminder that I can always learn .....)

I was snapping this pic of my friend's garden lily's (have to say, gardens in Ireland are so beautiful)... and discovered later that a little bee was munching at the same time ... so here is my insect contribution to this journal .... The Irish Bee :)

Ursa-Bursa is my not so little girl ... we think she is a lab-rot mix - doesn't matter, she is a dear ... And don't make fun of my housekeeping skills (seen on the periphery) ...
