On a relatively mild Decembers night, a group of friends and I decided near midnight that we should take advantage of the 'balmy' (for december, yeah!) weather and go sleding up on the university campus. A relatively tame hill- nothing compared to the mountain I went sledding on last summer (a trip during which a friend nearly broke his arm, i nearly had an eye poked out, and another friend actually tore the ACL in his left knee). |

Rebecca at first positively REFUSED to go down the hill. She'd apparently never been before... I finally convinced her to go down with me on a run- we ended up crashing horribly, with my face in the snow and Rebecca sitting on top of me. In the end, however, I think she had fun. I mean, look at the happy face! |
And yours truly... preparing for yet another run down the hill. |
At the end of the night- we left in high spirits. Headed off to the local 24-hour diner to grab some hot chocolate and warm food before going home to sleep. |
