It was a bit tricky to find the way out from Castelo Branco to the road number N233, but we asked some people who were very helpful (as Portuguese are) and they draw us an exact map. We drove to the direction of Penamacor and turned right to road number 239 which changed to IC31 before Monsanto. |
| Where do they get all the small stones from? |
| | We drove along some rural roads like this one. |
Clear directions all the way.
| | We passed some lovely villages on the way. Definitely off the beaten path! |
Suddenly stones in the middle of a field.
| | And where did these stones come from? |
An attempt to do something about it...

Today is the most famous of the "historical villages" of the region. Nice picture! | quartinb Thu Oct 14, 2004 09:41 UTC ,,,,my fave village ! |
