Loved this boat!! We didn't actually think it was seaworthy but one day a man came and went fishing from it. He had to bale it out first as it was full of rain water. We couldn't help but laugh when he almost capsized it in the launching process. We have some good video footage !!
For anyone familiar with Gerald Durrell we christened it The Bootle-Bum-Trinket.

We call this bread tunneling

Of course we all love the famous Greek bread. Nick and I always end up with the crust, all that is left after Philip has tunneled the middle out.

A friend indeed

We are always pleased when a cat befriends us, being real cat lovers. It has occurred to us that the cats in Greece don't seem to be as neglected as they used to be. Maybe the Peloponnese has the best fed cats?

One day on a beach with no shade Nick found himself burning so I came up with a cunning plan. Covered him with every item of clothing available. It worked!!!
