One of the best things when you go all-inclusive for two weeks, is meeting such wonderful people. They come from every corner of the world, to this magnificent place, just to escape from harsh winters and enjoy the sun and beaches of Cancun. The only hard part was saying good-bye when THEY had to leave.

Hans and I had a great time at the activities pool. The staff was absolutely fantastic. They kept us on our toes and got us involved. The kids loved Hans and called him "El Capitan".

After the shows were done, around 10 p.m., we usually headed for the Lobby Bar. My favourite drink was a Margarita and Hans, a Pina Colada. There was always a line-up at the drinks bar. Juan, or Juanito as he was affectionately called, played guitar and entertained us a few nights a week. Hans always requested "La Bamba" and I'm sure annoyed the young man, but he always politely complied. So then Hans and I would get out on the dance floor and strut our stuff.
We often met up with Jesse and Rachel from Iowa & Dawn and Chris, Melissa and Jason from Minnesota. We always had a ball with them and they seemed to get a kick out of us two old poops.

Two other great couples we met were Peter & Caroline from Ottawa and Gil & Cheryl.

Every Night there were great shows. Two nights a week there was a dinner show. Every Tuesday evening was "MEXICANA" night where they had an awesome Mexican show and Mexican buffet.
The accompanying picture was taken after "INTERNATIONAL " show. which featured songs and dance from different countries.

Lori & U.K. Beauties

Hans and I met a wonderful bunch of ladies from the U.K. vacationing together in Cancun. They were a lot of fun. They were Georgina, Stacy, Donna, Adla, Kerry and Linzie.

The ladies had a soft spot for Hansie. He always had fun with them and they liked to tease and joke around with him. My Hansie sure is a HAM!

Breakfast Buffet Staff

This is a tribute to the hard-working restaurant staff at Tucancun. Many put in 12 hour days, six days a week. They made our stay very enjoyable. Every morning we would by greeted by Esther with a wonderful smile. Two coffees and two pineapple Juice - we didn't even have to tell her. The boys always greeted Hans with "Ola El Capitan".
