London

Tower of London

Tower of London
The Tower of London cost 13 pounds 50 each adult, but is good value for money. We spent a good two hours inside, and an extra 1 hour on top of that. Admittedly, the last hour did become a little boring but it is hard to leave without seeing everything, afterall you probably wont visit it again.
Tour Guide

Guided Tour

A guided tour with a member of the ER is a must. The tour guides are hilarious and have many interesting stories to share. Without the information much of the sights would lose a lit of their appeal. The ER are highly ranked Sergeant Majors of the Army and RAF and live on site in the grounds of the Tower of London.

Tower Bridge

The Tower Bridge is only a 5 minute walk from the castle and worth a look if you have the time.

If you turn left from the tower bridge, 10 minutes away is Brick Lane, a street well known for its Indian Cuisine. The owners are prepared to offer discounts of upto 30% and free round of drinks to try and get your custom. The food we had was sensational and the bill was reasonable. Well worth a look if you like Indian food. Although, the area is a little dodgy before 6, after that more diners are about and you feel much safer.
