Barranco del Aqua? The Barranco del Infierno is one of the most beautiful hikes on Tenerife. While taking the path to the waterfall at the end, the scenery changes its face often. The deeper you get into the gorge it will be more than a tunnel.The path follows the little brook through the valley. When we were there it had rained a lot on Tenerife over the last weeks, so that the path was quite wet at some places and you had to climb over some water puddles. Under normal weather conditions it should be a lot easier. We endeed needed some good walking shoes and a little bit of luck to stay dry....it was such a fun! It took us around 3 hours for both ways. |
The Waterfall After one and a half hour we arrived at the destination, those little waterfall at the start of the gorge. If you think about the dryness in the south of Tenerife itīs quite a lot of water ey? Well ok normally itīs even less I suppose! |
Three waters In fact there was this other waterfall. What a surprise! |
Adeje Adeje is a little mountain village near Playa de las Americas. The beginning of the hike is right next behind this restaurant. Itīs a popular hike! |
