My Pride and Joy...Of Course These two young ladies have brought sunshine into my life since the blessed days they each were born. Only two years and nine days apart, they will tell you quickly...they are each other's best friend...what a loving testimony! |
My California Sis ! Although we were separated when I was 12, we remain close and even closer now. She has been my rock lately, guiding me with wisdom that comes only with experiences...both good and bad. However, if we learn from our "bad" experiences, aren't they then "good" experiences?? Congratulations to my sis and her new husband! |

Our Southern Caribbean Cruise In January 2004 I took my Mom on a cruise, just the two of us. I had planned for over two years, and it finally came to fruition. We had such a wonderful time, sharing and laughing. I felt she "deserved" a special treat for all she has done for me, and she truly loved my surprise! Maybe someday soon, we can take another journey together. She is a special lady! |
Love Knows No Age It is so heart warming to see my Mother with my daughters. Here she and Mandy were celebrating Mandy's 17th birthday....a special day in any girl's life and especially in the arms of her grandmother. |
A Mother's Bragging Rights I naturally am proud of my daughters for many reasons. I especially am proud of their patriotism for their country. My oldest daughter devoted all four of her high school years to the JROTC program, giving many service hours and becoming the Group Commander in her senior year. My youngest daughter enjoyed the program for two years then began concentrating her time on theater and chorus, her two loves. |
Another Christmas Parade Ride In My Dad's 1972 Corvette (which has been sold now), my sister and step mom ride....again, with whistles and wow's...for them as well as the car, I'm sure! |
