"Concerts I've attended" Personal Page by Carmanah

I've always wanted to do this: document every single concert I have ever attended. I have 90% of the ticket stubs saved, however, most of the older ones are fading, and ever so often it would be nice to just have an idea of who I've seen at a quick glance. My fondest memories as a teen were at the Commodore and the Plaza of Nations in Vancouver. People at high school eventually figured out what I was up to because I'd show up the next day wearing the latest concert shirt. They always knew me as the girl that went to all the concerts. I still have those shirts packed away in boxes, somewhere...

The shows below list all the bands I've ever seen live, followed by the venue I saw them in, followed by the date. These do not include classical musicians or symphonies that I have seen (of which there are many, but I've unfortunately never documented them so it would be very patchy). Many bands that I saw in the earlier years were popular Canadian bands at the time and were quite unknown outside of Canada. In other words, if you're not Canadian and you have never heard of these bands, you're not alone!

All in all, this is something I've done for myself, but I find it amuses other music fans. It also shows up in Google searches and as a result I've been sent e-mails from people who have also been to some of these shows which have otherwise been forgotten or undocumented online. I also find it interesting to see how my much and how little my musical tastes have shifted over the past decade and a bit.
