FIRSTS are always good, right????

that's why I was sooo excited about this VT Dinner...because it's my FIRST VT DINNER outside Manila...

Okay let me start ...

In the beginning I though I was the only VTer traveling to Bangkok at that time, but to my surprise I got an email message from Fatimah (Phalaenopsis) that she too will be traveling to BKK the same time as I...cool...I was happy :)

...during this time, Allan (Campy012) and Mike (Targetml) were in Manila for their visit and was spending time with them together with Kristine and Frankie (RedHorse)...and I found out that they will also be there!!!...more cool since these two are great guys to hang out with....I was even more happy!!!

Now the venue...we were really at a lost...it was my first time to go there, same with Fatimah (she was helping me organize the Dinner)...so we asked around...finally when the dinner was near, got suggestion from my boss that Somboon restaurant was a good one...so I said why not...found out that they have different branches...so we chose the nearest to World Trade Center....

All set...everyone game together with other locals like Mick (Peemapat) and Winston (Travelagent4thailand)...

The Night itself, I asked Campy if we could meet up coz I dunno where it is...so we met up and on with the search...

This was the fun part...we played 'WHERE IS SOMBOON??' for like an hour and a half (i guess, but didnt seem like it...I was having FUN, hehe)...but I can say it was fun!!!!

saw the other side of Bangkok...from not so nice taxi drivers, to not nice TukTuk drivers, to nice salesmen who tried to show us the way, to nice local freinds of Campy who talked to the taxi drivers in Thai Language, etc. etc. etc.

Finally we reached the place...

There was Fatimah, Winston and Marina, his wife, and Mik...it was i think 9PM...hehe....but I'm very happy they did not leave....hehe....

I was hungry...can we eat now???

Winston and Mick ordered the food, but I requested for the curry crab...yummy...

The food was GOOD...
The company of fellow VTers was GREAT...
the VT stuff given by Fatimah was EXCELLENT...

But we wanted more...

They say you havent been to Bangkok if you havent walked through Patpong and scheduled for a Thai Massage....

and so we did..though Winston and Marina had to leave...and Mick had to get some rest for he has work the next day....

So it was only the three of us who walked the walk...

TESTED MY SHOPPING NEGOTIATION SKILLS.......

and was surely RELAXING.......
