"An amazing exursion t ..." a Puerto Maldonado Travel Page by schlumpf

Our amazing advanture started from Puerto Maldonado, where we organized with the owner of our Guesthouse (see details on my tips) an excursion trough the amazony with a small tipical motor canoe.
What we were expecting was by far of what we had during our trip, an amazing experience fullfilled of quietness, people smiling without any problem and nights spent around a open fire talking spanish and drinking tequila...

We spent the first day in a little house in the nowwhere land in the amazony, surrounded of three beautifull and smiling young kids, so curios on seeing two young european mans....

The day was passing by very slow, talking to all the people in the house, helping the woman to cook, checking out things for our pure water (you know...) and having a shower in the river...com’on!

On the first night the oldest man (28 years old) ask us if we want to join him in the amazony, as he was going to hunt. I am not feeling cool with hunting, but considering that this is a way for them to caugh food, it was ok for me, so we decided to follow him.
Wow!You cannot immage!!!
We were in the middle of the amazony with such a blu sky full of stars with lots of sounds made by all the inabithants of the jungle...a pretty unbelievable situation!!!!!!
And at the end, we caughed our food! It was crazy, I was sitting on a three!! I saw such thing only in a movie!!!!

At the second day, before to reach our canoe and start to cruise the Rio, we decided to talk a little excursion in the green lung, the amazony.
It is simply unbelievebla the % of the umidity you will reach there! Bring liters and liters and liters of water! Bring twice of the quantity you do think it would be enough!! You will drink a lot!

An here we go..Yes exactly, that is our transportation...a motor canoe with a group build of me, my friend, the owner of the GH in Puerto Maldonado, a young guy and the “driver”...we have been simply crazy!
