A Day at Hillarys with my best friend | Perth Hillarys Boat Harbour |
Hillarys Boat Harbour is a wonderful place to visit. It's touristy, with quaint souvenier shops but is very pretty. I love it because it is open & fresh and has lovely restaurants and you can leave the kids at the water slides while you wander around the shops, check out the gorgeous boats and have fish & chips & a beer on the water front. Even in the hottest summer months, Hillarys has a lovely beach breeze. Here's pix of a day we had recently with my best friend from Brisbane. |

The kids love to swim here because the water is nice and calm and there's shade sails as well. 'Get outta the pix Glenys!' We can't see the pretty water :o) |

Here we are, aussirose, Tina-Perth,Gwennyth, and majicsilverrose in Hillarys Boat Harbour. What a day!! We all got on like a house on fire and the conversation & drinks flowed on. We all can't wait to do it again!! |

Aqua is an underwater world right on the most eastern end of Hillary's. The kids and I had a fabulous time there and I highly recommend it. |

The best thing about Aqua (well the kids think it's the best), is a pond where you can feel the fish, stingrays and star fish, sea cucumbers etc. Here's Jesse touching the stingray. We couldn't get him away from it. Not even a promise of an ice cream!! |

The seals were so cute. I spent ages in front of the window downstairs just waiting for the right pic. They were swimming too fast and playing. Anyway, this is the best I could do. She came up right close and I guess I fuzzed it a bit but you can still tell. Isn't she cute :o) |

Flurescent jelly fish!! Awesome hey!! This tank was really bit and looked like a humungous lava lamp lol. |
