Finally Canada

Skyline view from Casa Loma
For some reason, Canada was one of the countries I was most looking forward to visiting (New Zealand being the other).
When I finally had the chance to go for work, I was thrilled. I took an extra 10 days off to travel around and my girlfriend joined me.
The first stop was Toronto where we stayed for a few days.
Not the best seat in the house :)

Raptors

One of the first things I did was to get tickets for a Raptors game. Being a bit of a basketball fan, I just could not miss the chance to see an NBA game. Luckily the Raptors played at home a few times during our stay.
The game itself was very entertaining and I was happy the Raptors won (they played the Boston Celtics).
Niagara from the helicopter

Niagara by Helicopter

You can't come to Toronto and not visit the Niagara falls.

Although I was expecting something more impressive, it was still quite cool to see the speed at which the water falls. I personally relly like standing on the edge where you can actually look down at the dissapearing water.

However, nothing compares to a nice helicopter ride over the falls. It was the first time flying in a helicopter for both of us and I enjoyed the experience. The pilot could have avoided all those left and right turns in quick succession, at the end that left me with a slight nausea.

The only complaint was the weather, I'm sure it looks much nicer in the sunlight
Now what?
