"Tegucigalpa" by Mailo

The capital a small city with 1.2 million people here, I'm one of them, and my contribution to the growth of the population is only one daugther, so that means I'm not responsible for much here.

The city war originated as a setllement of silver mines.

History in every wall, building and street, jut like any other place in the wold, modern buildings, and colonial architecture, beautifull crurches with gold covered statues and images inside.
many contrast too, poor people and rich people, linving in the mountais around the city.

The weather is good almost yaer round. 22 25 celsius. Rainy season goes from may to octuber.

A christmas tree is a tradition in Honduras, customs we received from our conquerors the spaniards,
and now we celebrate the same day as many cristians around the world.
This is a huge christmas tree at the Mall Multiplaza in Tegucigalpa, in this shopping center you will find about 50 restourants, more than a hundred fine stores with jewerly, fashion, casual wear, six cinemas etc. and a 3 level parking lot that is full in this christmas season.

Three new Hotels in town, the Marriot, the Clarion and the Camino Real Inter -Continental seen from far away. They where build in the past few years and they are located in a new comercial area of the city.

A closer look at the lates hotel, the Marriot. It has a bar named NAPOC, witch means COPAN just writen backwards (the name of the ancient Mayan city ) And there is a Karaoke Nigth so everybody can go there and sing, they have a surprise for the best singer, it's a weekend at the Hotel for two with everything included FOR FREE!

Moderm apartament buildings are a real show of diferente types of achitecture. This go from small to huge buildings and they are changing the shape of the capital.
