"A day to Islas Ballestas and Pen ..." a Pisco Travel Page by schlumpf

This is the main attraction of Pisco, altough it is not so realistic, as (checking my homepage too), you can have a lot of other amazing adventures in Pisco. (che the homepage for details...).
However, to spend a day having an amazing adventure trought Penisula de Paracas and Islas Ballestas is really a super great idea, and you can not come to Pisco without having such activity, is the tipical MUST.

You will drive trough this desertic area (Penisula de Paracas) and will have a look at first to the pinkfloid (not the musiciants.... hehe) and afterwards, you will a stop in this beautifull place, where you can have a look on ” the Catedral”, some rocks that the power of the winds plus water has change in dimensions and look.

Usually you will have some time free here, where you can enjoy your meal, with such a beautifull view...eat some fresh fish! Simply great!!!

At the beginning of the afternoon you will take a sheep that will drive you trough the Islas Ballestas, wherew you can have a look very very closed to a lot of water animal, i.e. sea leons, birds and also penguin...

On your way you will have a look on the “El candelabro”.
As well as per the Nazca lines, also for El Candelabro, nobody knows how this picture could be done in the desert and how it can resist to all the weather changes, indeed, his “struxcture” is always the same...who knows?!

Altough to have a look on those places you MUST be a part of an organized excursion (and actually I do not like such things), I must admit that you gotta do it anyway, as those places are simply great....do overtake your concepts, and go with a group for one time....
