As a youngster, I caught the "racing bug" from my father, who built and sold race cars as a hobby. I loved to tag along with him to the races and got hooked on the rush of hearing roaring engines and watching drivers battle it out on a race track.
Years later, my husband finally gave in to my quirky need for speed and bought this race car for me!!!
I don't have the skills to drive the car, nevertheless, I had wonderful times watching a hired driver. The different colors of the car in these photos means that we crashed big time and started over with new colors for better luck. Drivers often remarked that they would prefer to have luck over skill because even the best driver can be taken out of a race at any moment! |
