Interesting descriptions and historical explanations. I imagine that Pharao Amenophis III would have found it perfectly normal to have 40000 people come and look at his tomb. I've never been to Luxor, but I have booked a room at Hotel Louxor in Paris. | hunterV Sat Jan 1, 2005 21:13 UTC

I am so envious of your trip to Egypt. I'm afraid I may be walking on three legs before I get there :-( Your tips are excellent. Really good reading. BTW Indian Summer is a warm spell after a hard freeze. I think I blinked and missed it this year...Tom |
