Lovina Beach A tranquil beach along the North side of the island. Peaceful and quiet - very different from the beaches at the southern tip. If you are lucky you can see the dolphins - have to get up very early in the morning though - and very often that we are unlucky! I was not lucky as well but at least I could enjoy the nice sunrise |
Jimbaran There are many good places to watch the sunset in Bali and this is one of my favourite because here I can watch the sunset while waiting for my dinner to be ready |
Bedugul Mountain resort located in the center of the island. There are 3 lakes around this area; Bratan, Buyan and Tamblingan. Lake Bratan is located directly at the side of the main road. The temple at the lake side is one of the major temple for Balinese. Buyan and Tamblingan are a bit off the road and much more quiet. Tamblingan is still considered as sacred place by the Balinese. |

The view of the two lakes If you go further north from Bedugul, turn left to the Munduk area, you will find this place where you could rest and have coffee while enjoying the view. From here you can see Lake Buyan and Lake Tamblingan side by side. Very nice! |
