"NEMO +++ New Metropolis2001" Amsterdam Travelogue by sabsi

NEMO stands for New Metropolis. It's a science museum especially for kids. I'd say the best age would be around 10-12. Or then 28, because I really loved it :-))

You can't miss it, facing the central station it's on its right, it's the green thing that looks like the Titanic is sinking. You can walk up the roof for a nice view of Amsterdam and it's towers and waterfront.

There are a lot of things to try in the museum - actually there's nothing just to look at, but only things to do and try. I love this kind of museum!!

Here you can make electricity - but I don't know how it worked ;-) Maybe I'm too old....

After learning so much more about how everything works make sure to go onto the roof to get this lovely view over Amsterdam!

You don't have to pay to go onto the roof, you can reach it from outside the museum as well!
