Nice location behind the Yuksam Bilding near the Han river.

A Korean kid's first birthday party is a huge party (kid did not seem to enjoy it too much - look at the fedup face), all dressed up in traditional Korean clothing, expensive affair in a fancy hotel, all family and friends invited, dad must blow his whole pension on this lot. The 100th day after birth is also a special occasion, it seems that in much older times the attrition rate amongst children was so high their birth was only acknowledged afte 100 days when there was more hope for survival. Dads bring fancy rice cakes to work on the 100th day.

This is most probably one of the most popular markets in Seoul, easily accessible from central Seoul

Hangang Park runs next the Han River for miles and is a favourite place for outdoor activities in Seoul. There's a bike/jog/walking trail on both sides of the river. Bikes are for rent, beware of the inline skaters tho. Nice place for a walk and fresh air (is such stuff exists in Seoul)
