I would like to state that all photographs (except the ones mentionned) shown on my VT pages have been taken by myself and and fall therefore under my copyright.

In general howerever if for some strange reason a legal person (no firm though) should feel the need to use one of my pictures he/she is welcome to do so.

BUT under two conditions

1 the purpose of use is a non-commercial and a personal one - only.

2 my name shall be properly indicated

I bought me a new camera partly due to the fact that my old one (Nikon F55) got broken last weekend (6.-7.11.04) in the nearby National Park of Nuuksio and partly because it was time to move on with my hobby, which now will most probably alter into an amateur status.

So I went straight to a specialised photo shop in Helsinki (Optotek) where I was made an offer one just simply does not resist!

I ended up buying a Nikon D70 with a Sigma DC 18-125mm lens.

Needless to say this means my personal bancrupcy but with love and porridge I will survive...

It was a huge step for me to leave the world of kino photography and enter the still magical world of bits&bites. But times change and one should from time to time do so too - at least be open-minded, not be the stubborn and breaking element.

So, here are my very first two shots.
The upper one was taken with 18mm at f3.3 and 1/2s in RAW format which was transformed into a 8bit jpeg photo.
Below the photograph was taken with 125mm at f5.6 and 2s with same procedure as the picture above.

I did this little test just out of the blue so its just for my amusement...

So from this on my pics will have digital origin...
