Arambol beach

arambol
Arambol beach from the point.Or whatever it's called. I think they call it sunset point or something.I only spent a few days in arambol, but was a cool place for the north of goa.I prefer the deep south of goa because it's more quiet and less populated. Theres so much traffic in the north. But hardly any down south. Plus I think it's cheaper down south. But I would go back again. Though I paid 250rps. a night in May in Arambol, and only 100rps. a night in Patnem in the south from feb. to may 2003.But still a cool place. Definitely the best travelers beach of the north.Mandrem is also good.

cabo de rama

View from Cabo De Rama Fort. South goa. North of Agonda beach.

cabo de rama

The sea right next to Cabo De Rama Fort.Totally different waterfront from anything i've seen in Goa. Very rocky. Reminds me of the coastline of Hawaii. Beautiful!!!See the beach in the background. You have it all to yourself. Another hidden jewel in Goa.WHO SAY'S GOA IS SPOILED!!!! B.S.!!!!!
cabo de rama

cabo de rama

The empty beach next to Cabo De Rama Fort in south goa.I don't know the name of it. But if your looking for a getaway from it all place, this is the place. There are a few small places in the area where you can get a drink and food. There must be some place to sleep. If not you can sleep on the beach. I was there in 2003

The river you cross in Betul, south goa.On the road to cabo de rama.Beautiful green colored water. The pic does'nt do it justice.Betul is a nice place where the fishing fleets dock.I spent a great afternoon at the Seagull Hotel and Restaurant, sitting in their restaurant right next to the boats passing by. Eating fish curry rice and drinking kingfisher. A very relaxing day. They also have a hotel that costs 200rps. a night. If I ever go back, I will spend some nights there. Using Betul as a base for exploring the area. And no tourists in betul also. Another hidden gem in south goa.

Nice views of the relatively "unknown" south. Unknown for now sadly. Safe travels :o)
