Lu Gou Bridge and Wan Ping city

Steles
The bridge locates at South West of Beijing. It was built in Jin Dynasty, 1192AD, it has been standing here for over 800 years. In Marco Polo's book, he also wrote about this beautiful bridge.

In July 7, 1937, Japanese army attacked Chinese army in Wan Ping city, which is in the end of the bridge. It's the starting of 8 years war between China and Japan, finally Japan surrended on Aug. 1945, millions of Chinese people died during the war.

On the left, it's a steles in the end of the bridge, it's written by an emporer in Qing Dynasty.
