The Temple is a sacred building constructed by Mormon pioneers from 1853-1893. It is a recognized church symbol throughout the world. The Temple is not open to the public. The interior of the building may be viewed in exhibits at the South Visitors Center.

The Conference Center features a 21,000-seat auditorium and a 900-seat theater.

The Assembly Hall is a Gothic-style building with lovely stained-glass windows, constructed by Mormon pioneers in 1877. The Temple Square Concert Series presents complimentary hour-long concerts featuring local and international artists every Friday and Saturday evening. Tickets are not required, but admittance is for those eight years of age and older
