Best diving I have ever done Clarity, visisbility, life coral, warm water, few other divers around.
Are you getting excited. That is what every dive is like. Visibility 25 meters+ water tempeture 30-35°c on top 25-30°c 15 m down.
The fish are tame and swim with you. There are lobsters there if you like to pick them, go ahead. It is the best diving conditions I have ever dived at.
The trouble is getting into Saudi to be able to dive. No tourists are allowed. You need to work there or be on a pilgrimage to be able to enter the country.
I will be adding a few pictures here shortly of my dives in Saudi.
There are resorts all along the coast in Jeddah. Some are better than others. If you want to take lessons while in Saudi call Bill Foster in Rose Village +966 2 656 2500/2501 and ask for Mr. Foster. Tell him Vilhelm from Iceland told you to call him. He'll get a kick out of that.
He is a great guy with more experience diving in Saudi than anyone else I know of. He knows all the spots and has amazing connections to get you on boat dives ect. |
