| Page Views: 1,374 | ME! And my other "Boys" ! by diosh - last update: Nov 21, 2007 |
I was talked into doing a magazine article. It was about , what special
present we got for ourselves, for our 50th birthday!
I treated myself to a posh painbox, as I'd just taken up watercolour
painting.
This photo was from the magazine. It was all done a few years later and I
had to pretend it was my birthday--artistic licence!
It was taken in my 'studio' or rather the dining room!
If you look closely at the photo, you can just about make out my painting
of the famous view from Richmond Terrace--the one Mick Jagger used to
wake up to every morning--lucky b-----r! |
| | Me-another pic from brunette days! Just emailed to me by my sister.I can barely remember myself then-about 20 years ago! |
One of my other 'boys'! - Relaxez- vous! There's nothiong nicer than taking over the huge settee and having a good
sprawl:-) | | | Ooh- lovely:-) What a big yawn! |
|
| | The 4- legged boys- Bruno, Mac and Misha. All now 10 years old. Misha- in the front was given to us by a neighbour who was moving to a
flat.
he was quite nervous at first- especially of the 2 brutes, but he's settled in
beautifully.We'\ve had him about 4 years now. He's very snuggly- he likes
nothing more than to be on your shoulder, snuffling into your hair!
It's very difficult to get pictures of Bruno, on his own, as he always walks
right up to
the camera and sticks his nose in!.....So he's always in the distance... |
Misha- relaxing. He's such a tart!
He knows how to get really comfortable and has no inhibitions!
He, more often than not, sprawls out on his back. | | |
| | 'Mac'- the mackerel tabby. He's a beauty and he smiles a lot! You can see his cheeks puff up and his
lips turn up- he definitely smiles:-)- especially when he's bagged first place
in front of the fire. |
Dinner time. They all like to eat together, in a row.A friend tells me this is very rare
among cats.Mine have always done it- no squabbles or fights, they all tuck
in.. | | | Have we all got equal portions? |
|
| | Slight movement spotted- but not too much! They will gradually edge nearer to the fire- till they are nearly
scorching. They don't seem to mind that their fur is too hot to touch!
It's an old fire but still very efficient- as long as the way is clear in front for
the 'boys'- everyone's happy. |
