I was hungry

I gave into a savory
I gathered bravery
I did Paris
but i crave fo more

Green Dreams on English Holiday

Green fields of sheep
dominate my days and sleep
in this time
as well as you
in thoughts not as green
but still lush and growing

I want you but do not crave
yet I get upset
and complain, complain
when the offer is not there
Yes, I know, I know
it's not even right
so I try to avoid you
which proves to be more
of a mere challenge

I encounter you
in the highest of places
deeming you sub-par
crappy and tasteless
Why can't you be more varied?

Still I take you in
all things considered
and I mean this sincerely
Better than nothing
at all it is to
have you... well, at least for now
'til better better fulfilled
