"Beautiful Acadia" Maine Travelogue by PA2AKgirl

Even in terrible weather, Acadia offered some incredible views...but we still decided it would be better to come back a few days later

...and we were right. Here's the same view 3 days after the 1st picture was taken

Sunset at Seal Harbor

Not sure about the temperature of the water in mid-september but there were kids swimming.

Halfway up Cadillac Mountain. The first time we tried stopping at this turnout, we couldn't see anything but...well, fog.

Apart from the stunning ocean vistas, Acadia also has lots of lakes and hilly terrain. Completely different ecosystems separated by less than a couple miles.

Yikes, he doesn't look too happy with me, does he?
