This is a neat place to hang out, and it seems quite a few of the locals have the same idea. |
| | Roman Amphitheatre Columns outside the amphitheatre. Be wary of the numerous locals who attempt to get you to hire them for a tour. A polite no thank you is advised. |
Roman Amphitheatre A beautiful site, and well worth the visit.
| | Roman Amphitheatre Across from the amphitheatre you will see stairs leading up the hill to a small arched building, where you can take nice panaramic views of the amphitheatre and city. |
Local Tourist Traps Along the street that runs in the front of the amphitheatre one can find your typical tourist traps. Of course, I stopped in and bought the required sand art glass bottles and arabic head wraps. I was surpised that the shopowners were not that pushy. If you have ever been to Cancun, Mexico, you will know what pushy is. | | | Caught in the Tourist Trap |

| | Tourist Shopping A view at dusk of the street near the base of the amphitheatre. It is here you can find all your touristy nick nacks. |
Citadel Ruins Ruins at the Citadel. While the site is beautiful, there are very few markers explaining what you are looking at. Unlike me, I would suggest reading up before you go.
| | City View From the top of the hill containing the Citadel you get a real view of the city. |
