"Six Flags Holland" Netherlands Travelogue by codrutz

Six Flags Holland is one of the seven attraction parks of the group StarParks (Six Flags Holland in The Netherlands, Six Flags Belgium and Bellewaerde Park in Belgium, Walibi Lorraine, Walibi Rhône-Alpes and Walibi Aquitaine in France and Warner Bros Movie World in Germany). As a history fact, the first StarPark attraction in Belgium was Walibi Wavre in 1975.

Goliath

Goliath is the thrillest rollercoaster in Six Flags Holland. The megacoaster is 46 meters high, has a first drop angle of 70 degrees and you reach a top speed of 106kmph(!!). The ride is also over a lake - which to be onest I hardly had time to see, I was more busy to watch the track to see the next G-force where is going to hit :))

There are many other rides in the park, for every taste. By example, this one behind me is not my preffered. For me it's more disturbing even than the rollingcoasters, because this makes only a motion of rotation and you arepractically spinned out of control, flashed with lights and sprinkled with water. What a mock :)

Also for spining lovers :) I also saw kids enjoying this. The ride spins and danglles you while the sound of a tornado sounds. Interesting (?)

Goliath's drop

This is the main point of the Goliath. You are winched up slowly and then plummed almost vertically. Good ride for the rollercoasters enthusiast.

For the others, I must tell you that also a different thing at Goliath is that you are restrained only by your knees, and not over your shoulder as usually in other rollercoasters.
