Just getting to your accommodation for the night is an experience. We went by car - which isn't recommended, as it's a bumpy narrow bush road. Usually visitors are transported in a open top bakkie - which is pretty much a game drive as often buck and birds are seen along the way.

This is the kitchen area... totally open, and often a good souce of food to the monkeys that frequent it! And leave a total mess.

This is the view we had from our room! - Yup, there are no windows! And that is the sea and the beautiful beach! It's also where the sun rises in the morning!!! At first you lie in bed wondering what else is going to crawl into your bed during the night - but once you're zipped up the sleeping bag and covered as much as your face as possible, you evetually fall asleep.

Once you're woken up and finally realised that you slept in the bush last night... it's time to get some early morning fresh air. The beach is just a 5 minute walk away through the dune forest. - A good idea before leaving would be to make a fire so that you can boil some water to have coffee when you get back! Yup, no electric kettles here!
