Our true summer passion, along with sailing, is our garden. Not only is it important to us today, but in the Summer of 2000, it was instrumental in bringing us together. We have found that we share in the joy of creating a living haven in the city. For the past three years, we have participated in the Buffalo Garden Walk and have welcomed thousands of people through our little yard. I hope these photos will offer the garden we love to all who visit here. |

| | Space for Reflection & Not Much Else! The farthest corner of our garden is only about ten pace from the nearest. This is a very private spot. The bench under the grape arbor is the best place to enjoy the waterfall and the fish in the pond. |

| | The Shade Garden This is a spot with almost continuous shade. We never thought it could be that interesting but Carol has assembled an incredible array of plantings that combine a wide variety of color and texture. |
| | Big Color, Lots of Stuff! This area is just three or four steps from the shade garden but gets a lot more sun. Here we have many different day lilies and our favorite Crocosmia - "Lucifer". |
| | Follow The Winding Path Giant Hosta line the path from the entrance, past the shade garden, along the sun garden, to the pond ... all in about eight to ten paces. Small is good! |
