The first VT meeting was an impromptu one with Kentishgirl (Ali) and her lovely hubby Michael. Chris and I met them at a lovely Mexican restaurant in Canterbury on 4 September 2004 and we had a relaxing evening enjoying good food and more to the point good company.

A great evening was had by all at a good restaurant in Canterbury last night.
Kay (Haldane) and her daugher Keziah, Claire (clairegeordio) and her husband Mick, Chris (Chrishc) Ali (Kentishgirl) and her husband Michael and myself met at Litlle Italy in the High Street and enjoyed a wonderful meal and a few drinks together before departing for our various homes.
It was lovely to put voices to the pictures.
Kay brought her daughter Keziah who was a very well behaved little girl with manners that would put a lot of children to shame!

I had been speaking to Ursula on VT since she joined (VT member Alusru) and when we meet in December it was like meeting an old friend. I felt like I had known her all my life and we had a lot in common too. We had a great evening in Bad Goisern and spent the next day in Salzburg. I am sure we will remain friends and look forward to seeing her again in the summer.

Natalie, Neil, Billy and Sam

A wonderful evening was had with Neil Ward and his gorgeous boys Billy and Sam. They were on their way to Holland and stopped by before catching their ferry. We gave them the quick tour of Dover and St Margarets. The boys played on the beach and we all enjoyed a couple of drinks. Thanks for the chocs and diet coke Neil!!! You are welcome any time.

Manfred, Leo, Ursula, Natalie, Chris

A great evening was had by all at a lovely restaurant high above Vienna. We met Leo (Globerover) Ursula (Alusru) and Manfred (MEdelmann). The restaurant was busy but we were some of the last to leave. We had a lovely meal and enjoyed good conversation. Thanks for a great night guys.

Another lovely relaxing meeting in Canterbury with Winfired who was staying near Canterbury in July 2005. It was great to meet him after chatting to him for so long beforehand. Lovely to meet up with Petra and Maria again too. Thanks guys for a lovely evening.

The VT gang in Budapest.

Budapest was a destination we had always wnated to visit and we are so glad we did. We had a lovely evening with Rea, Atilla and Eva all of who come form budapest. Jo and her partner Darren and friends of Rea came along too. Good food, good wine and excellent company made for a great and very long evening. Thanks so much for making us so welcome.

Lynda and me

Lynda and I met in Canterbury on a cold Friday in January and after a coffee and a chat went shopping in the city. We had a great morning together and also made arrangements to travel to London together for the meeting at the end of the month. I am sure we will meet up again (when we have some spare cash!!)
