A weird hobby... I'm not sure this classifies as a hobby, habit is probably the more correct definition. I've been a fan of IKEA ever since I got my first reclining chair as a kid in Germany at the age of 10 and it actually stayed with me for almost 20 years. I love their wooden furniture, I can't help it, and the "Ivar" shelf is my forever favourite. In recent years, as I have been travelling around the world, I have visited IKEA simply to taste their Swedish meatballs. I've done all the Norwegian ones (5), sorry no pics yet, but here's one from Nottigham, UK, and Melbourne Australia. |

More photos... Fellow VTers! If you would like to contribute to this collection, please visit your local IKEA, if you have one, have some meatballs and send a photo with a culinary report. I'll be sure to post it! Thank you so much for your help. |

The truth is, we have been to Ikeas around the world too...Oslo,a few in France, a few in Belgium...couldn't remember the rest. We love their restaurant that serves good food for a cheap price! | SPW Sun Mar 11, 2007 03:48 UTC Happy birthday, Jan. You don't seem to be around much these days but You are still remembered. |
