space needle

The space needle was the centre of the world exhibit in 1962 in Seattle. It was the view of the architect on how offices would typiccaly look in the magic year 2000 :-)

Don't pay to go up the space needle by itself, but purchase a CityPass.

As you can see on the pictures, I choose the right day to go to Seattle. It rains 364 days per year. I took the 365th day.

Seattle Aquarium

I had a great day in the aquarium. It's not too big (you'll walk trough at ease in about two hours) but it shows the fauna that lives on the shores and in the ocean around Seattle.

Boarding

In the CityPass is a ticket to do a round trip in the harbor. As it was a very hot day, I enjoyed this a lot. The narrator we had on our trip gave us a very good overview of the different thing around us.

Pike Market

Pike Market is a public market, located at the end of Pike street. It exists since 1907.

waterfun in the science center

The science center, a part of the Seattle center, is a museum where people can not only see, but feel, smell, taste, ... as well.

This highly interactive museum was so much fun for me that, even after I visited it af ew years ago and knowing that I only had one day of Seattle, I went here again.
